Charities We Support
At Konfidence, we take pride in our continued efforts to support charities that are close to our heart, and here you can learn more about the local, national and international charities that we are championing.
Barnardo’s
For more than 150 years, Barnardo’s has been there for the children and young people who need it the most. They’ve changed childhoods and changed lives, so that children, young people, and families are safe, happy, healthy, and hopeful.
We are proud to support them by donating products to their network of retail shops, which generate over £80million for the charity every year, as we really believe in the incredible work they do to help and change children’s lives. They also advocate for a reusable society, which is something we feel strongly about living here in the South West by the sea.
“Our aim, is that via Barnardo’s retail shops,
families in local communities will be able to save money on our donated essential swimming products so that their little ones (the next generation) can start to safely enjoy all the health and physical benefits of playing and learning in the water – all while supporting a deserving children’s charity.”

CAA - Cornwall Air Ambulance
We are a business, but we are also a family, and a few years ago, we experienced firsthand the vital role Cornwall Air Ambulance plays in saving lives, and providing critical care to the most seriously ill and injured in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The crews carry out over 1,000 missions each year, and with no direct
government funding for operational costs, they rely on the generosity of individuals to keep flying.
“As a family, we are incredibly grateful for the help Cornwall Air Ambulance gave us and for everything they do, which is why we remain committed to supporting them.”

DFW - Devon Freewheelers
Here in the South West, the Devon Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary
Service, play a crucial role in supporting the NHS
“Our Managing Director, Andy Regan, is one of their volunteer riders, and alongside all the other dedicated volunteers - drivers, handlers, and fundraisers - they serve the community at no cost to the patient by transporting blood, medical samples, equipment, medication, and other essential supplies to hospitals, air ambulances, and NHS facilities.”

Likkle Swimmers
This summer, we will be supporting Likkle Swimmers, a UK charity that provides free swimming lessons to children in Jamaica and who will be starting baby and pre-school lessons for the first time this year (2025).
“To help Likkle Swimmers with this new charity venture after a year that saw Hurricane Beryl devastate the community and left their swimming pool area a mess, we are gifting a bundle of Aqua Nappies to get them started.”
STA - Swimming Teachers Association
The Swimming Teachers’ Association is an international award-winning charity working towards then objective of preserving human life by the teaching of swimming, lifesaving and survival techniques. Since 1932 this objective has under-pinned all that they do at STA and has driven their commitment to providing the highest quality qualifications and charitable services within leisure.
For our part we love working with the STA.
We have been involved with the STA for nearly 20 years and we are so
proud to continue our partnership with them. Their help and advice has
been invaluable when designing our new eco-friendly Splashy™ Range, featuring our all new e-Flex™ material manufactured using re-cycled plastics

RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution
The RNLI are a charity founded upon and driven by values of selflessness, courage, dependability and trustworthiness, with volunteers at our heart.
Values shared by generations of supporters who have powered their lifesaving work through kindness and generosity for almost 200 years. Volunteers make up 95% of the organisation - ordinary people doing extraordinary things - supported by expert staff, all working together to help communities at home and abroad save lives.
Founded in 1824 as the Royal National Institution for the Preservation of Lives and Property from Shipwreck 30 years later in 1854, its name changed to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution - the RNLI - as they are known today.
“We are absolutely delighted to be able to support the RNLI, they are
a national institution who are saving lives all year round. Living
and working in the South West we see first-hand the incredible work
they do daily often risking their own lives to save lives at sea”.
