SHARE THE GIFT OF SWIMMING THIS CHRISTMAS IN SUPPORT OF BARNARDO’S

This Christmas to mark the 20th anniversary of our baby swimming essentials range we’ll be embracing the true spirit of the festive season by supporting Barnardo’s and giving the gift of swimming.

Throughout December, we will be matching* all purchases of our Original Konfidence Swim JacketOriginal Splashy™ AquaNappy™, Splashy™ Babywarma™ and Splashy™ Roll and Go Baby Changing Mat and donating them to Barnardo’s, the country’s leading children’s charity, so that they can raise funds via their charity shops to help those most in need.

Our multi-award winning ‘Original’ baby swimming essentials, which have been used by hundreds of thousands of little ones over the last 20 years, will hopefully then go on to find new homes throughout the Winter, and help little ones in 2025 who are starting out on their swimming journey.

As an extension to this, we will also be matching* all purchases of our Original Konfidence™ Jacket, which has been helping children learn to swim with confidence for more than 25 years.

For more than 150 years, Barnardo’s has been there for the children and young people who need it the most. They’ve changed childhoods and changed lives, so that children, young people, and families are safe, happy, healthy, and hopeful. In 2022-23, they reached 373,200 people, and ran 811 services across the UK.

Andrew Regan, the founder of Konfidence, said: “We’ve been supporting Barnardo’s for a few years now as we really believe in the incredible work they do to help and change children’s lives.  With this being the 20th anniversary of our ‘Original’ baby swimming range, we wanted to do something extra special around Christmas time to show our support, and help raise awareness about the important work they do to help children living in poverty.”

Barnardo’s 590 retail shops generate over £80million for the charity every year – they are a vital source of income, as well as offering so much social value in communities.  They also advocate for a reusable society, which is something we feel strongly about living here in the South West by the sea.

“Therefore, when all combined, for us as an eco-conscious family company its special that we can donate even more products to Barnardo’s retail shops this Christmas time and help them raise money - and in turn help promote the other passion of ours, the importance of learning to swim and how to be water safe from an early age.

“Our aim, is that via Barnardo’s retail shops, families in local communities will be able to save money on our donated essential swimming products so that their little ones (the next generation) can start to safely enjoy all the health and physical benefits of playing and learning in the water – all while supporting a deserving children’s charity,” confirmed Andy.
